Scholarship is vital to the work of the Irish Georgian Society. Irish Architectural and Decorative Studies, first published in 1998, is the foremost journal of record for new and pioneering research on the art, architecture, design and visual and material cultures produced in Ireland in the period 1660–1940. Its editorial committee of scholars and academics ensures its reputation as essential and authoritative reading. Published annually, the Journal is available from selected libraries, on the IGS online store, and in its bookshop in the City Assembly House.
